The fondue meal with a difference
The participants arrive at a beautiful country inn for a fondue dinner. If you wish, you can start with an aperitif of your choice. Afterwards, each guest sits down at a table with pens and slips of paper ready. Caquelons are distributed one by one. Now it's time to recognize which liquid ingredients were used to prepare your fondue. After a while, the caquelons are passed around. This allows you to sit comfortably and sensitize your palate.
The fondue variety
Four different types of cheese fondue are served to the guests. The following fondues must be recognized on the basis of moitié - moitié:
- The sour-must fondue
- The beer fondue
- The white wine fondue
- The Prosecco fondue
The fondues are served with potatoes, bread, gherkins and pickled onions. For dessert, a chocolate fondue with fresh fruit is served. An alternative menu is available for non-cheese lovers.
It's not just a good palate that decides who becomes Fondue King. The answers to the history of fondue and various estimation questions are also decisive. The appointment of the Fondue King rounds off the cozy evening.
You too can experience this cozy winter event in the heart of the Emmental countryside, which offers plenty of fun and conviviality.
