Treber sausages in the Carnozet
How can the fine Treber sausage be further refined? This is the question the Mürset family of winegrowers from Twann has asked itself. After three months of tinkering with the recipe, the answer was found: It's called "More taste and less fat". Convince yourself of the result and enjoy the speciality from the Lake Biel wine-growing region in the in-house Carnozet. The sausages are served directly from the kettle to your plate, accompanied by homemade potato salad, green salad and great wines.
The Treber sausage is in season from January to March. At this winery, however, we also offer the Treber sausage meal out of season for groups of at least 20 people.
The journey to the wine cellar
Twann is situated on the shore of Lake Biel between Biel and Neuchâtel and can be easily reached by train and/or boat. It is only a few steps from the train station and the landing stage to the wine cellar. The Carnozet is open for you and your team over lunchtime (approx. 12 to 16 hrs) or in the evening (approx. 18 to 23 hrs). Comfortable hotels are available on site.
Wine hike before the meal
Would you like to combine the sausage meal with a walk through the village and the vineyards? The winegrower will gladly take you on an exciting walk. Reserve your desired date early and provide some alternative dates, the demand is great!
